This is really a nice Chardonnay especially at this price. From the appealing tropical fruit pie filling, tart green apple, kumquat, pear sorbet and sweet toasty oak flavors to the buttery, creamy texture, you’d guess it cost a lot more. 1 Note

Tough, dry and gritty, with significant tannins framing herb-infused blackberry, currant and pepper flavors. A good, rustic wine with barbecue and rich, oily Italian food. 1 Note

Heavy and honey-sweet, with ultra-ripe flavors of pineapple jam, vanilla, caramel and buttered toast. Crisp acidity provides needed balance. 1 Note

A good, somewhat rustic Cabernet to drink now. It’s nicely dry, with fine, softly intricate tannins, and the flavors are ripe in black currants and chocolate. Drink now. 1 Note

Sharp, raw and palate-scouring, this thin wine has a harsh texture and green fruit. Not opulent, but it’s a clean, technically correct Pinot Noir. 1 Note

Pretty good Cab for the price, a little soft, but ripe enough, with upfront blackberry and cherry flavors and that chocolate fudge note that marks so many modern Cabs. It’s a pleasantly dry wine with some real complexity. 1 Note

A good, rich, everyday Pinot Noir. Doesn’t seem all that much better than the winery’s less inexpensive, non-reserve bottlings, but polished enough, with raspberry, cherry, cola and oak flavors. 1 Note

Dry and soft. It’s a good Cabernet for everyday drinking, with pleasant berry flavors and a smooth mouthfeel. 1 Note

There are very few if any Napa Cabs this good at this price. The wine is simply constructed and at its peak, but shows a drily tannic structure framing black and red currant and cedar flavors. 1 Note
