A pretty Chardonnay that’s lean and steely, a refreshing counterpoint to the current sweet, oaky style. You can taste the flavor of crisp green apples, and the tart acidity is mouthwatering. This is a lovely cocktail wine, balanced and refreshing. 1 Note

Clean and fresh, with lean fruit and modest spice. Mostly apple and white peach flavors, with an easy, somewhat lazy finish. Good in feel but just a bit watery in the center and also a touch tart in the middle. 1 Note

Fresh and bright, dominated by its citrus and almond flavors. It has a soft, creamy texture, with highlights of orange zest, green plums and a great burst of acidity. 1 Note

Big and sappy, this wine is filled with ripe berry flavors, and is very fresh and jammy. It also has some sturdy tannins and mouthwatering acids. It’s a big Beaujolais but also a gentle one, easy to sip and a good, dry companion for French onion soup. 1 Note

Light-bodied and soft, this wine seduces with flavors of raspberries and sour cherries. Dry and tart, with a silky texture. The acid creates interesting heat and sting on the palate, which makes it a natural for food. 1 Note

Filled with youthful vibrancy and impertinence, this jammy wine tastes of blueberries, loganberries and other wild berries, all wrapped in a dry, silky texture with high acidity. It has that gaseous, fermentation-tank quality of an extremely young wine. 1 Note

With modest cherry and leather aromas, this Beaujolais doesn’t offer a lot of charm or fruit. Tart cherries finish a bit astringent and green. 1 Note

A clean, fresh expression of Burgundian Pinot Noir, with slightly herbal tones laid over a base of tart cherries. It’s a bit thin and lacking texture, but shows bright, crisp fruit dusted with a hint of cocoa on the finish. 1 Note
