No mistaking this wine, with it's jammy, briary, peppery aromas and jammy wild berry fruit flavors. The sharply dry finish is also classic Sonoma Zin. There's a rough, tart quality to it that begs for olive oil, goat cheese, bbq, anything rich enough to cut through the tannins. 1 Note

Fun and juicy, with bright blackberry, cherry, plum and spice flavors. They taper off a bit soon, however, leaving a toasty oak edge on the finish. 1 Note

Earth, herb and oak stand out on this Zin’s nose; taut red plum and caramel flavors are prevalent in the mouth. Medium-bodied, with supple tannins, it finishes with sturdy red fruit and a warming char-toast note. 1 Note

Begins with earthy, berry aromas that smell disjointed and sharp. It’s a big wine, with sturdy tannins, although it has a soft mouthfeel. There’s not much fruit evident, but there is a sharp, dry astringency in the finish. Not offering much pleasure now, and not likely to improve. A Rhône-style blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Grenache. 1 Note
