A very pretty Sauvignon Blanc that can pair well with a wide variety of foods. Dryish and crisp in acidity, it has brisk, mouthwatering flavors of lemons, limes, pineapples and smoky vanilla. 1 Note

A very nice Cab. It’s dry and stylishly constructed, with smooth tannins. The blackberry flavors have an earthier note of herbs and coffee. Drink this balanced, elegant wine now. 1 Note

Pretty much Pinot Noir in name only. It has the silky texture and light tannins of the variety, with simple cherry, mint and pepper flavors. 1 Note

An awkward, unripe wine, with green stalky notes and harsh tannins. There are some nice fruity flavors, and it’s dry and clean, but it feels austere and aggressive in the mouth. 1 Note

Whatever “Private Selection” means, it’s not an indication of quality. This is a weak, simple wine, with thin fruit and more than a bit of the veggies. The dry mouthfeel leads to a cough-syrup finish. —S.H. 1 Note

A nice, easy-drinking wine that takes grassy, lemony flavors and smooths them out with what tastes like a softening dose of oak. The middle has some pretty notes of melons, leading to a fruity, clean and slightly sweet finish. 1 Note
