Old friend visiting selected this from the cellar to try. I would have left it for a couple of years...but we decanted and drank...and followed with a second bottle. The color was a gleaming dark purple and the nose fruity and young. Not sure how much potential this has but I'm sure it will show at least a bit more with age. Still, balanced, pleasant, and a decent reward for impatience. 1 Note

Decanted for about an hour and it could have used more air. In the glass, the nose was quite strong of dark fruit and forest floor. By the bottom of the first glass the edge was gone and revealed a soft, well-balanced wine that was very pleasant, but not particularly layered or complex. Very good, not great. 1 Note
