A Fitting Sonoma Winery Teams Up to Celebrate Oscar and Charity

oscarsIt was a night of glitter and glam and old Hollywood style for the 84th Annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles. The Artist and Hugo were the big winners of the evening, each pulling in five little gold statues.

Famous for the “after” parties on Oscar night, Hollywood transforms itself into an unstoppable bash, from the Vanity Fair gala to private parties held by winners and nominees. The wine flows until dawn.

Wine from film director Francis Ford Coppola’s winery was flowing, but nowhere near the red carpet. Just up the coast in the Marin town of San Rafael, away from the Hollywood party scene, Coppola’s winery supported the annual Oscar Night America Gala, thrown to support the California Film Institute.

Poured throughout the night: Coppola’s Diamond Collection wines, as well as wines from the Director’s Cut -- a series of premium wines.

What were you pouring on Oscar night? Tell us below.
