It’s so fun and festive to be at the wineries when they are all decorated for the holidays. And many are having some great events -- you can even get some shopping done while you drink their best wines!

Carlsbad Winter Wine Festival, Carlsbad, New Mexico, Dec. 2-3
Taste New Mexico best wines at this fun festival that takes place during the annual Christmas on the Pecos. Friday night is a special sponsors VIP party and Saturday will be a wine festival with lots of holiday arts and crafts, and entertainment.
Holiday Barrel Tasting, Walla Walla Washington, Dec. 2-4
Winemakers and cellar staff from the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance provide samples of future releases straight from the barrel. Each winery gets into the holiday spirit in its own unique way, offering food, art, music and more.
Anderson Valley Holiday Passport Wine Weekend, Dec. 3-4 & Dec. 10-11
On two separate weekends, 24 Anderson Valley wineries will participate in these Holiday Passport wine weekends. Collect just six stamps on your Winery Passport and you can enter to win two tickets to the International Alsace Varietals Festival. Many winery tasting rooms will also have a toy drive collection box, so please bring a new, unwrapped toy donation.
Wreath Fineries at the Wineries, Shawangunk, New York, Dec. 3-4 & Dec. 10-11
Do your holiday shopping with Wreath Fineries at the Wineries, the Shawangunk Wine Trail’s memorable holiday event! Check-in at your starting winery and receive a souvenir wine glass, a grapevine wreath, and a Shawangunk Wine Trail ornament. Then travel along the Wine Trail, receiving a wine tasting and a beautiful ornament to decorate your wreath from each winery you visit.

The Woodinville Wine County invites you to sample wines from 25+ Washington wineries at a special tasting with hors d’oeuvres on Friday night and at the wineries throughout the region on Saturday and Sunday.
Niner Wine Estates Holiday Sit-Down Dinner & Syrah Tasting, Paso Robles, California, Dec. 6
Celebrate the holidays with an elegant evening at Niner Wine Estates with 15 Paso Robles Rhône Ranger wineries. The evening begins with a sparkling wine reception, complete with carolers, followed by a seated multi-course, seasonally inspired ingredient dinner prepared by the Niner Culinary Team. Each course will be paired with a flight of Syrah wines. Live music completes the evening.
Seasonal Tasting at Wonderland Express, Glencoe, Illinois, Dec. 7
Come to the Chicago Botanic Garden for tastings of local spirits, wine, and winter brews, while you enjoy the surrounding Wonderland Express exhibition with model trains and replicas of more than 80 Chicago landmarks. Light fare and drinks will be available for purchase.
Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival, Palm Beach, Florida, Dec. 8-11
The festival brings together an eclectic collection of award-winning chefs, culinary personalities, authors, winemakers and mixologists to South Florida. Events include: specialty cocktail and hors d'oeuvre receptions, five-course dinners with premium wine pairings, kids' cooking classes, and the final grand tasting and cooking competition. Wine, Chocolate, and Cheese Festival, Ouray, Colorado, Dec. 10
The festival highlights premiere wineries, chocolatiers, cheese makers and artists from all over Colorado. The theme this year is 1920's-1940's with music by "Take Five".
Lights of Olivet District, Santa Rosa, California, Dec. 10
Join nine wineries of the Olivet District for a fun and informal Holiday Open House. Wineries will be staying open extended hours to show off their holiday lighting and decor! Each winery will have a holiday themed craft and/or food item to enjoy along with special pricing on gift sets.
Say Cheese Wine Trail, Hermann, Missouri, Dec. 10-11
Sip wine and sample cheese pairings, from the classic to the creative at the seven wineries on the Hermann Wine Trail. This event coincides with Hermann’s popular Kristkindl Markt, an Old-World holiday market.
