We just can’t get enough of the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series! (Psst... we’re based in Chicago!)
And after ten innings and a rain delay, the Cubs ended the 108-year championship drought.
It was one of the greatest Game 7’s in history, so it’s time to toast both teams, who played their hearts out. And we went and found some great commemorative wines. So drink ‘em and raise your glass to both teams. But then save the bottles for history’s sake.
So check out these wines below and enjoy!
Chicago Cubs™ 2016 World Series™ Championship Brut
Made in the Champagne-style with grapes from California, this is the perfect bubbly to toast the champs!
Big note though: You have to pre-order this limited edition bottle. So get on that!
Chicago Cubs™ Club Series 2015 California Proprietary Red (3 pack), $54
If you’re a “bubbly” person, consider the Cubs’ Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s full-bodied with aromas of black fruit – perfect for those windy Chicago night.
Cleveland Indians™ Club Series 2013 California Red Blend Wine (3 Pack), $48
And we have to tip our hats to the Indians. They played hard and proud. So fans should consider their red blend. You’ll get aromas of spice and chocolate and coffee on the nice long finish.
Or treat yourself to one of these awesome Chicago Cubs etched bottles. They’ll run you about $50 each but they’re worthy of ending up on your fireplace mantle.
Cleveland fans too — the bottles are beautiful.
So here’s to a great World Series. We’ll happily be celebrating — and drinking wine — for weeks to come!
