Colores Del Sol Malbec
Jammy Spicy Smooth & Elegant

Winery Story

"The Colores del Sol Malbec is sourced exclusively from the Luján de Cuyo districtwithin Mendoza, one of Argentina’s most prestigious win... (more...)e growing regions. At an elevation reaching 3,500 feet, the vineyards in the Luján de Cuyo are among the highest, driest, and sunniest in the world. This elevation allows the area to remain cool while the grapes bask in bright, pure sunlight. This inspired the wine’s name: in English, ‘Colors of the Sun’."

Tasting Note

The 2009 Colores del Sol Malbec is a deep ruby color with bright purple hues. Intense aromas of ripe blackberry and hints of eucalyptus and ... (more...)spice lead into a rich palate full of spicy fruit characteristics of raspberry and black cherry. The wine shows excellent balance with an opulent, full-bodied mouthfeel and fine grained tannins.
